SIP outstrips ISDN recording

Sales of SIP recording have outstripped those of ISDN at Tri-Line for the first time in Q2 2014.

While the arguments for SIP versus ISDN is likely to rumble on for many years to come, these results certainly point to a growing adoption of SIP technology.

As telecoms and IT functions merge, a better understanding of data networking is becoming commonplace among decision-makers and SIP seems to be finally gaining ground.

SIP technology is by no means new, but over the last 9 months we've seen a rapid increase in the number of customers adopting the technology, either as an alternative to, or complementing, ISDN lines.
